<victhor> disabling icecc did the trick, but obviously this is not desirable. So it seems the clients are missing some libraries, but how do I add them?
<victhor> I have them installed on the machines already, so they are missing from the build environment.

<Nilesh_> Hi jas-hacks..
<jas-hacks> Nilesh_: hi
victhor has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds]
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks: i did the changes for ldb ..now its returning error -16 http://pastebin.com/BhxvYtzM
<jas-hacks> Nilesh_: it complaining 'mxc_sdc_fb fb.27: ipu0-di0 already in use' . Try without setting mxcfb0
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks: ok ...so should i comment mxcfb0 from dtsi?
jas-hacks1 has joined #imx6-dev
jas-hacks has quit [Ping timeout: 250 seconds]
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks1: Ok i'll comment that ....and what about the bootargs its not taking dev=ldb and is complaining as(## Error: "video=mxcfb1:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666" not defined) in serial log
<jas-hacks1> Nilesh_: you need the bootargs it won't work without it
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks1: Yes...i've set the bootargs but its complaning as above at the ubot and also not reflecting in the kernel line
<jas-hacks1> Nilesh_: then you have set it up wrong
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks1:,video=mxcfb1:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666 is whats the doc says...
<jas-hacks1> Nilesh_: I don't think there should be a comma at the start
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks1, typo: .....i've set as (video=mxcfb1:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666)
<jas-hacks1> Nilesh_: if you halt your boot you can print out your bootargs cmd line
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks1:yes
<Nilesh_> This is how it looks like http://pastebin.com/FxQy64F5 ,jas-hacks1
<jas-hacks1> Nilesh_: why don't you manually set the videoargs value and then continue the boot?
<dv_> jas-hacks1: I added some elements to use the G2D API for video transforms and output
<dv_> jas-hacks1: just FYI
<jas-hacks1> dv_: interesting .. how good is the 2D API
<dv_> I generally like it more than the IPU
<dv_> it has two drawbacks though: (1) only RGB formats can be used for the destination (2) no deinterlacing
<dv_> but it isnt picky about the video size, unlike the IPU, which can fail with certain sizes (and it isnt very clear which ones)
<dv_> its allocator API also allows for cacheable DMA buffers, yay .... and, I don't have to use kernel headers
<jas-hacks1> dv_: how is 3.10.31 beta, i think you did some work with it?
<dv_> didnt use it. I did try out the v5 drivers though. they improve performance considerably.
<dv_> (I always use the 3.14.14 kernel, and patched it for v5)
<Nilesh_> jas-hacks1:....I got the LVDS output....really thanks ......:) you make my day ...I'm happy
<Nilesh_> :)
<jas-hacks1> Nilesh_: NP
<Nilesh_> I also wanna thanks to jnettlet kroon.....they also guided me for LVDS...thanks to them :)
