<iNeo>
I'm building android for imx6. I have issue because the default umask for ubuntu is 002, and the generated files will have write access mode for the group, and android does not want that. Does anyone has an idea?
<aholler>
change it?
<iNeo>
but the android/fsl documentation does not say something about it, so I'm wondered ...?
<aholler>
usually install will install stuff regardless which umask is the default
<iNeo>
which install u talk about?
<aholler>
man 1 install
<iNeo>
It's the the makefile
<iNeo>
I mean yes, it used by the make file, I have a quick look
<aholler>
it's more likely something else is broken. an umask of 0002 is pretty standard
<iNeo>
yes that what I suspect
<iNeo>
I used to build android on linux mint with no issue
<iNeo>
but now, I'm switched to ubuntu, and I got this issue
<iNeo>
may be I miss some package
<iNeo>
aholler: when copy a file with install, it properly set permission mode. (r-x for the group)
