I'm adding a directory to IPFS, I have 50 peers and when trying to resolve from the gateway it simply doesn't resolve. Is it possible to add the gateway directly as a peer or how can this be troubleshot?

Well, there's a couple of things you could do. one, obviously, is to turn off the VPN. Another is to run a headless VM with a macvtap interface and run IPFS there, so it never uses your VPN

Run "ipfs id" on the gateway and on the node "ipfs swarm connect /ipX/…" which you get from ipfs id
