<Zzz_> Hi. For some reason the box I am looking at is running: LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-8.90.006.tar and changing the version does not work as the reboot command causes a segfault and quits before finishing.
<Zzz_> (not my box)
<Zzz_> How can I fix things please?
<mack-> Zzz_: I would start with checking that the update is for the correct architecture and that there is sufficient space available on the disk to extract the tar and update.
<Zzz_> hmm. Good point mack- : box is rarly used, but yet has 0% free on / --> weird
<Zzz_> yet pleny of space on /storage
<Zzz_> but: /dev/loop0 131.1M 131.1M 0 100% /
<mack-> you would need to look at /storage
<mack-> that's normal for LE
<Zzz_> 8.7 GB free
<mack-> the /flash mount might be required, but I'm not sure.. I haven't followed hte upgrade procedure carefully
<Zzz_> I also tried to download LE9 through Kodi: no errors, yet nothing in .update
<Zzz_> full disk overview: http://paste.debian.net/hidden/ae0a0568/

<mack-> The good thing about raspberry pis.. easy to just roll back to a previous disk image. Good thing about LE, just back up config and install fresh and restore.
<mack-> bad thing about raspberry pis.. SD card can fail on heavy use on update
<Zzz_> that was the backup plan
<Zzz_> I was hoping to work around that
<Zzz_> but is also seems LE does not generate human readable logs?
<Zzz_> thanks for the support
<Zzz_> got to go
