I've decided for a Debian 10 host. I will run a simple Watch tv PHP server as PVR backend on the host. Kodi would be containerized either as a libreelec or itself on the host.

recyclehero: LE is a distro, not an app (containers virtualise apps)

so you can put Kodi in a container, although it probably makes little sense

if all you want to do is run the PVR back-end on the same device, install LE, then install Tvheadend from our add-on repo

does my tv card needs firmware? the SNR is high and signal lights up only for brief moment
