<brads> memeka: regarding the otg port on c2, with my limited testing the bootrom appears to put it into UART mode when powered at boot. For example I can use some amlogic tools to read the console on host via otg in uboot. Not sure how linux reacts to this if otg set to host mode with power supplied to OTG (especially with that jumper set on C2 for usb-otg power)
<memeka> brads: basically i need standard USB stuffs
<memeka> however since i am using the USB cable to connect to something that can give power, i can save on 1 cable
<memeka> if i get power through the cable, does it need some OTG stuff?
<brads> I don't think you can power via OTG and then support host mode on the OTG port. Looks like you would need to make the C2 the slave (OTG)
<brads> may otg drivers exist so might no be that hard depending on purpose
<brads> many*
<brads> memeka: I eventually laughed about your comments of needing lots of spi for c2 multiboot in uboot :)
<brads> I cried first lol
<memeka> brads: what comments?
<brads> when I said I wanted to make a bootmenu in mainline uboot for C2, seems im stuck with spi mode for sdcards as I cannot reset UHS cards in linux if I use it in uboot
<brads> no power reset :( same as amlogic bootrom to uboot
<brads> and spi mode makes for slow boot with bootmenu
<brads> too much spi

<The_Coolest> After some digging, it seems that Odroid had a similar issue with the S805 on 3.10, but we don't have this alpha channel problem in 3.14.
<The_Coolest> Does anyone know where we could look for the fb0 alpha channel configuration/setup?
