cfbolz changed the topic of #pypy to: PyPy, the flexible snake (IRC logs: https://quodlibet.duckdns.org/irc/pypy/latest.log.html#irc-end ) | use cffi for calling C | if a pep adds a mere 25-30 [C-API] functions or so, it's a drop in the ocean (cough) - Armin

In any case, it is probably time to rephrase the comment on pypy.org:
<mattip>
"Stackless: PyPy comes by default with support for stackless mode, providing micro-threads ..."
<cfbolz>
mattip: hrm, unclear
<cfbolz>
mattip: I doubt the premise a bit, that CSP would draw people specifically to pypy
<cfbolz>
mattip: it would make a nice blog post, but I don't know enough to write it

mattip: I have used pypy+gevent in production and it seems to work well; gevent has a "core loop" which dispatches event: the default one is written in C and used by CPython, but there is also one written using cffi which is used by default on pypy

mattip: also, note that since the original issue was opened on bitbucket, the OP is not going to receive any notification about your comment
