<ill_logic> Be ready to sign in with your nick and password over and over, as it periodically kicks you out of this room for no reason. I just copy/paste my previous message.
<ill_logic> Ian did something to avoid this though, I forgot what it was.
<kmisterk> Hmm. I mean I just followed the directions on the freenode matrix bridge documentation. Hopefully it’ll suffice to keep me logged in both places.
<isd> I think there's something you can do to instruct the matrix bridge to save your password, in which case it does the auto re-identifying itself. I would normally be a bit more gunshy about giving my password to the server, but meh, my IRC nick isn't super sensitive.
<kmisterk> Yeah I care virtually zero about my irc. I don’t think I have any power here. Lol

<JacobWeisz[m]> Yeah, usually if we want to transfer sensitive info or files, we move to something a lot more trusted than IRC nicks.

<simpson> Cross-post from #erights: Capn's segment size is around the same as a nursery size in a GC. Is this a coincidence; should it inform how Capn implementations do things?

<isd> simpson: what "size" are you referring to? Something in the C++ implementation? in principle segments can be of any size < 2GiB.
<simpson> Aha, got it.
