<kubast2> Yo is it possible to know kind of, what's the maximum bitstream size that a chip supports? I have no clue atm what eeprom size I should use
<kubast2> Yeah tbf it is a dumb question
<kubast2> But I just don't know, a good size to use, for something like "ICE40HX1K-TQ144"
<kubast2> from what I can tell, the bitstream size depends on a project, I haven't tried anything big, but for a board that uses a different ICE40 model the size seems to vary between 40-132KiB
<agg> the lattice docs for the ice40 tell you the maximum sizes, one sec
<kubast2> I tried looking those up, I didn't ctrl+f well enough then, sorry for the trouble
<agg> you want the iCE40 programming and configuration technical note, pg18, table 9.2
<tpb> Title: Imgur: The magic of the Internet (at imgur.com)
<kubast2> cool, I were only looking up documents provided by farnell
<agg> farnell sell ice40? huh
<kubast2> yeah
<kubast2> tqfp package
<agg> you'll want to get all the ice40 technical docs, the datasheet's definitely not got everything
<agg> but yea, that table is hidden away and is what you want for this
<agg> ah weird, i see they are "no longer stocked" on the bga ones but carry a few of the hx1k-tq144
<agg> weird
<agg> http://www.latticesemi.com/ice40 for hx/lp/lm parts, grab the ice technology library, ice40 hardware checklist, perhaps pinout, programming nad configuration, sysclock/pll, memory usage guide, probably all useful
<tpb> Title: iCE40 LP/HX/LM - Lattice Semiconductor (at www.latticesemi.com)
<agg> the "pcb layout recommendations for leaded packages" might be helpful for the tqfp part too
<kubast2> thanks I think I have grabbed it all, and a bit more;
