can you specify build options within a Gemfile?
<
indirect>
imperator2: no
<
indirect>
configure options
cha1tanya has joined #bundler
<

see the help for bundle config
<
imperator2>
was looking at that, trying to figure out the best way to approach this
<
imperator2>
basically, only need to pass build options for a particular gem on windows
<
indirect>
can you configure the windows machines?
<
indirect>
or add the configuration to a bin/setup script?
<
imperator2>
i'll have to check, maybe
<
imperator2>
but, i think this gets me on the right track, thanks

I'm updating the specs for bundler-audit

and a rake task that runs `bundle install --path ../../` is failing

path isn't where the Gemfile is
<
indirect>
path is where you want the gems to be installed
<
indirect>
pass --gemfile if you need to tell Bundler where the Gemfile is
<
indirect>
postmodern: ^
<
postmodern>
indirect, note I'm doing a chdir
<
postmodern>
indirect, chdir into the dir, run bundle install within it, with a common vendor/bundle/ dir to contain all the gems
<
indirect>
it's BUNDLE_GEMFILE=""
<
indirect>
someone just opened a ticket like yesterday about that

i'm trying to install a bundle that keeps hanging up on the mysql2 gem
<
dojobo>
windows x64, so not surprising
<
dojobo>
i installed mysql connector x86 and then installed mysql2 --with-mysql-dir pointed at the connector
<
dojobo>
all those things seemed to go fine
<
dojobo>
but the bundle i want to install keeps hanging up at the mysql2 point
<
dojobo>
any ideas?
<
dojobo>
i had to force the same specific --version of mysql2
