<nolith> Hello, can samoneon suggest me a quick way to get the content of a Gemfile.lock at runtime? I'm mostly interested in the GIT sources

<gthank> So through no fault of my own I suddenly find myself in need of getting a working dev environment for a Rails 2.3 codebase that is not "bundlerized".
<gthank> I have followed the instructions at http://bundler.io/v1.11/rails23.html
<gthank> I basically had it working with a bare `bundle install`, but for deployment reasons, the preference is to use a `--path=vendor/gems` version.
<gthank> When I try to do that, suddenly `./script/console` (and others) stop working with a `config.gem: Unpacked gem ruby in vendor/gems has no specification file. Run 'rake gems:refresh_specs' to fix this.
<gthank> `

<gthank> I'm essentially a bundler newbie, so I'm guessing I'm missing a flag/argument/setting of some sort?
