If I set a dependency in my gem on 'activesupport', '> 4' or something, and someone bundle installs it on ruby 2.1.10p492 or something similar they get "activesupport-5.0.0.1 requires ruby version >= 2.2.2", is there a workaround?
<jensnockert>
I need to be able to support both activesupport 5 and ruby 2.2

Using an ext to inject the gem dependency works for RubyGems, but then Bundler cannot pick it up?
