<tricky> morning all, spent 3 days trying to get coinium compiled and working, always a problem with csredis, tryed the nuget re download, added csredis from your repo, and gibbed.io and the other 1, has it been intentionally broken? i can get pools up, but not temp storage, or payment processing :/
<tricky> any hints tips or pointers would be greatly appeciated, will keep this irc open in case anybody offers up some help, gone for shower :)
<Lefter1s> tricky there is a guide here
Lefter1s has quit []
<tricky> lefter1s cheers pal, but ive watched the vid a dozen times and replicated everything they done, end conclusion is i have problems with the compiling proccess, im pretty sure im just missing something silly, or a silly setting in visual studio :(

<tricky> looking for fool proof compiling guide, if anybody can help? windows 7, visual studio 2013, finding major problems with csredis, even if i add it in from the repo :/
<Lefter1s> tricky the one i gave earlier?
<tricky> no good mate, no help with compiling :(
<Lefter1s> the one in github wiki?
<tricky> just basic setup, which ive done about 20 times now, seems the problem is csredis related, ive even added it into the project from the repo :(
<tricky> none of them show how to compile the source mate :( got it up and running for now, just have no temp storage from redis, not populating sql database, and no payment processing or stats :(
<tricky> i did have to slightly modify some code, to get it to build in visual studio, wreckoning thats my problem. but for now it half works, just cant get my mates to help on certain coin mining till i can sort the build probs :(
<Lefter1s> then you should wait for raistlinthewiz__
<Lefter1s> sorry cant help
<raistlinthewiz__> git submodule init
<raistlinthewiz__> git submodule update
<Lefter1s> and here he is
<Lefter1s> hehe
<raistlinthewiz__> should already load the csredis for the project
<raistlinthewiz__> if can i see a build error, i may help better
<tricky> many thanks guys, it dont help that im new to git :/ lol give me 5 while i reload a fresh project so i can c p :)
<tricky> silly question more than likely but does visual studio support git? or do i use git outside of vs
<raistlinthewiz__> you need git tools for windows
<tricky> i do have git bash installed :)
<raistlinthewiz__> vs2013 supports it but still better to use https://msysgit.github.io/
<raistlinthewiz__> which can install the bash shell and git for your windows
<tricky> kk will have a nosey, www.wemine.uk is what ive forced to work lol
<raistlinthewiz__> will be afk for a while, just copy paste the error log and i'll take a quick look
<tricky> Error1The event 'CSRedis.RedisClient.Connected' can only appear on the left hand side of += or -=C:\Users\Tricky\Downloads\CoiniumServ-develop (2)\CoiniumServ-develop\src\CoiniumServ\Persistance\Providers\Redis\RedisProvider.cs3355CoiniumServ Error2'CSRedis.RedisClient' does not contain a definition for 'ReconnectTimeout'C:\Users\Tricky\Downloads\CoiniumServ-develop (2)\CoiniumServ-develop\src\CoiniumServ\Persistance\Pr
<tricky> error 1 i fixed by changing to IsConnected
<tricky> and error 2 i "//" the line out :)
<tricky> many many thank you's guys, pulled the project with git, compiled problem free, and now running on its dedicated machine, thank you very much for your help
