is there a way to open have a console between host and cubieboard through the OTG USB connector?

I've looked for it, and maybe I did not have the right google fu, but besides using a Serial-USB adapter (which looks overkill) I found nothing conclusive

ok, got a weird thing: I'm having the board connected through wifi, and whenever I git clone, I loose connection to the board
