<NermaN> i'm trying to get latest mainline kernel working on cubieboard
<NermaN> i added nand section from a13 to a10, since it is not configured for cubieboard and a10 in mainline
<NermaN> and it seems like nand reading is working fine
<NermaN> but, i can't get writing to work, because it seems like on system level it thinks that erase block is 1GiB instead of 1MiB
<NermaN> do anyone here knows anything about this?
<NermaN> and it says that eraseblock is 1GiB in /proc/mtd despite fact that it is correctly detected in dmesg by system
<NermaN> i have no idea where it got this 1GiB size, which obviously wrong

<[TheBug]> NermaN: you would do better to ask that in linux-sunxi, however, since NAND isn't really supported very well, you may or may not get helpful information there -- but if someone is going to know, they will -- if you join there and ask be sure to wait around because timezones vary and the person who may know may not be there till later
<[TheBug]> that is #linux-sunxi
