<pikajude> i put the "oh" in ocaml
<ec> oh pikajude lol. that was jfhbrook, my bad 🀣
<ec> you *should* use OCaml though ;) ;) ;)
<ec> yeah the in is a wart β€” but OCaml’s entire syntax is a giant fuckin wart
<jfhbrook> I'm trying to figure out how I can manage configuration in my app in a way that I can hook up to the libraries that I wanna use
<jfhbrook> so far I've learned that the approach I want to take looks nice but that most of the libraries don't take the shape of arguments I want to work with to start so the whole thing is suspect
<jfhbrook> also no good way of overwriting fields, no good way of unifying the whole shebang
<pikajude> i'm not using ocaml
<jfhbrook> I'm writing python today
