<Wallacoloo> Are there any successful DIY organic FET projects out there?
<Wallacoloo> Or Organic Electrochemical Transistors? These in particular look more DIY-friendly to fabricate than MOSFETs.
<SpeedEvil> In many ways the chemicals are harder
<SpeedEvil> you can in principle find publications of organic transistor groups and impleent them
<SpeedEvil> if the materials and methods bits are adequate

<Wallacoloo> It looks like electrochemical transistors have endurance issues too (on top of their slow operation).
<SpeedEvil> yeah
<SpeedEvil> getting decent lifes out of organic components is a real problem - the 'simplest' way is to exclude absolutely any moisture and oxygen at all often.
<SpeedEvil> Which isn't very practical.
