<yates> i'm confused on the proper method to change pin muxing in dts[i] files
<yates> specifically, we are using the Variscite DART 6UL board and need repurpose the enet2 pads for other functions (e.g., i2c).
<yates> what i'm confused on is if/when the kernel sets up the pin muxing.
<yates> here is the relevent dtsi file from variscite's yocto build: https://da.gd/yYMsm -> https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/c-rTsGhGN9hrqAAHFJWbeA/
<yates> enet2 is configured at line 147ff, including the pinctrl_enet2 pin assignments.
<yates> but at line 660, i want to instead assign enet2_rx_data0 to i2c3_scl
<yates> (line 662)
<yates> so who's going to "win"?
<yates> do i just remove the entire fec2 section, or is there otherwise some configuration so that these two peripherals don't contend with the pin muxing?
<yates> can any gpio be used as an interrupt?
