<kares[m]> enebo: should we wait with merging PRs on master, just in case there's a quick 9.2.9?

<enebo[m]> kares: I can branch from tag
<enebo[m]> kares: so no worries there
<kares[m]> okay I'll merge the uniq stuff so I can finish the enumerator pieces from there
<enebo[m]> kares: cool
<kares[m]> also planning some better testing with a Rails app
<kares[m]> think I'll just use the RG.org app since I had it running locally with JRuby
<kares[m]> I'd like to profile some and see if there's any low-hanging fruits ...
<kares[m]> left :)

<enebo[m]> kares: yeah keep notes on data population etc...
<kares[m]> maybe I'll try create a docker image, would that make sense?
<kares[m]> not sure how we would than compare running against MRI (another Docker)
<kares[m]> or if that complicates potential Java/JRuby profiling too much
<enebo[m]> yeah I don't know either
<kares[m]> guess I will have to try unless any Docker folks share their experience :)
<lopex> for me dockerized jruby with a sinatra app slows down somewhat
<lopex> not sure if it's more system calls or something

<enebo[m]> kares: lopex Thinking about this a bit more it would make sense to have both an MRI and JRuby docker image for something like rb.org benching. It may not be "real" but it should give some comparative numbers
<enebo[m]> It could be the JVM or MRI does more syscalls or something which is slower on docker but it would be very handy for us all to be able to just run stuff on perf changes
