<jnettlet> yeah I have one that I am hacking on
<jnettlet> although haven't had too much free time since I got it
<sjoerd> si1v3r: javier__ has been hacking on those for a while now

<si1v3r> javier__: Do you know how to remove the 30s delay and beep? on my snow I was able to use flashrom to set some flags. That didn't work on this peach pit.
<javier__> si1v3r: don't know about the beep, but what is the 30s delay?
<si1v3r> at the chromeos developer mode warning screen it waits 30 seconds before booting.
<Wizzup> ^D ?
<si1v3r> yeah the one where you hit ctrl d. Unattended boot please. ha
<si1v3r> I did it on snow, just wondering if anyone figured it out for this one yet.
<javier__> si1v3r: oh right, you can change that using set_gdd_flags.sh
<javier__> si1v3r: execute set_gdd_flags.sh --help from the chromeos rootfs to see the available flags
<javier__> there is one that is GBB_FLAG_DEV_SCREEN_SHORT_DELAY that is if set then it does not wait for 30 secs
<javier__> si1v3r: I thought you were talking at some delay in u-boot which I didn't have it on the peach pit
<javier__> I'm currently using 0x39 as gdd flags fyi, so # set_gdd_flags.sh 0x39 may do the trick for you
<javier__> Wizzup, ^
<Wizzup> :)
<si1v3r> ok got ubuntu booting from a flash drive. now the fun begins.
<javier__> si1v3r: did the gdd flags trick work for you?
<si1v3r> I'll be able to try later. I was loading chrubuntu on the bus to work and it took the whole ride.
<si1v3r> good to know repacking the kernel image works the same way as snow.
