<bobbytables> I know that there may not be people around to answer this, but I'm having problems getting the network working on my SAMSUNG Chromebook 2 XE503C32
<bobbytables> Including compiling the R40-6457.B (3.8) kernel.
<bobbytables> I've installed it with a Debian system that I debootstrapped.

<bobbytables> When I boot I can see that the mwifiex_sdio module is loaded, but I can't seem to actually locate the network device.
<bobbytables> lshw doesn't show anything in the Debian system, but it does show the network interface/device when I'm booted into ChromeOS.

<bobbytables> Fixed it. I didn't install the correct firmware package. Should've trawled through dmesg sooner.

<Wizzup> let me know
<Wizzup> most of it works for me
<Wizzup> I've been using the laptop for 2+ years as main machine
<willmore> Is it that old? Wow. I'm looking for an ARM linux laptop, so I'm looking at repurposing a chromebook of some sort. I didn't realize that samsung hadn't made a new ARM based on for two years.
<bobbytables> Even ChromeOS on my Samsung is only running kernel 3.8.11...
<bobbytables> As does Arch..
