<mszyprow> memeka: ping
<mszyprow> memeka: just to let you know, since v5.0-rc5 there is a bug in mmc causing memory trashing/data corruption during heavy io loads
<mszyprow> memeka: I'm bisecting it now
<memeka> mszyprow: in xu4 there’s kernel crash if USB devices are connected
<memeka> Keyboard either ok usb2 or 3 => crash
<memeka> Wifi on usb2 nothing on usb3 => ok
<memeka> Connecting keyboard later => ok
<mszyprow> memeka: okay, I think I've seen usb related crash once
<memeka> Sleep went on to 0.3-0.4W
<memeka> But I couldn’t wake up with keyboard
<memeka> Pressing power button => wake up and power down Tho
<mszyprow> memeka: usb doesn't support remote wakeup
<memeka> How to wake up?
<mszyprow> by power button, but you would need to disable shutdown action for it in your system
<mszyprow> or by rtc
<mszyprow> man rtcwake
<memeka> Oki so then it was working indeed
<memeka> Except the USB issue :(
<memeka> mszyprow: HK had some rtc patches from 4.14 i added to 5.0 - would they be necessary?
<mszyprow> memeka: rtc: s5m: enable system to power on with alarm events ?
<mszyprow> memeka: well, that one is not needed for suspend/resume, but it should be posted to mainline, as it is really nice feature to power on from rtc alarm
<mszyprow> memeka: s3c-rtc fixes are indeed needed, but s3c-rtc is /dev/rtc1, which is not used by default
<memeka> Oki :)
<krzk> mszyprow: memeka: we have never set this bit in rtc-s5m... and it seems pretty logical
<krzk> mszyprow: memeka: it is shared with S2MPS14 which was used on Rinato/Exynos3250 and there it was not needed.
<mszyprow> krzk: have you ever tried to power on from rtc?
<krzk> but the code just updates the value of RTC_UPDATE register so if this was set by bootloader it would continue to work
<krzk> mszyprow: ah, power on?
<mszyprow> krzk: yea, the commit is about power on from rtc, not resume
<krzk> hmmm, then no, I misread this
<krzk> but in the manual it is described "PM Wake-up Upon Alarm Control Register"
<krzk> so wake up - as in resume
<krzk> as well...
<mszyprow> one need to check that on the real hardware

<vakkov_> hello, everybody! By any chance, is there someone with an exynos 4210 device?
<vakkov_> Also, does anyone have a backup of the exynos 4 technical manuals? samsung seem to have removed them... old links:
<krzk> vakkov_: for 4412 you can look at friendlyarm wiki:
<vakkov_> krzk: thanks!
<krzk> vakkov_: Exynos4210 is also supported (in some limited way) by QEMU.
<krzk> and the only people having Exynos4210 boards - to my knowledge - are folks from Samsung RD Poland
<krzk> ... and users of Galaxy S2 :D
<vakkov_> krzk: yep, i want someone to pull the bootrom (iboot) from their S2 if possible
<vakkov_> and run it on qemu; then, i would like to upgrade for the s3's exynos - 4412, wasn't it
