fyi: i have created new bootable sd-card bootable ubuntu (18.04) and debian (buster) images for the odroid u3, u3+, x, x2 and the samsung snow chromebook (XE303C12) based on the linux v5.4 kernel and with integrated mali patches (until lima and panfrost is fully useable)
<hexdump0815>
i did not test all of the images yet, but they should simply work as the changes to the last ones are very small - in case you run into problems, please let me know
<hexdump0815>
good luck and get well into the new year!

Wizzup: did not test it explicitely, but on my v5.3 images audio was working both for the odroid and the chromebook - pulseaudio was a bit tricky to get working on the chromebook i think (something like disabling the input part i think made it work there too)
<Wizzup>
what I found way back when was that audio was 'working' but ran too fast
<Wizzup>
at the speed of 44100/48000
<hexdump0815>
no audio is working fine - there were some fixes running into the recent linux kernel versions, especially the rev5 chromebook audio was broken until some releases back
<Wizzup>
curious as to what the fix was.
<hexdump0815>
going through the commit history of all the exynos snow realted dts and dtsi should bring up the relevant commits plus some more around them (timewise) if i remember correctly
<hexdump0815>
i think some clock stuff was wrong before ...
<Wizzup>
yes
<Wizzup>
nice to hear it's fixed
<Wizzup>
my peach-pi kind of broke down since
<Wizzup>
I guess I still have my snow
