mimi89999: Paweł Chmiel is working on Exynos7420.
<krzk>
tuxd3v: I propose to give up on Nexus/S5P6818. It would be nice contribution - one could become a maintainer... but
<krzk>
tuxd3v: the company - Nexus - does not care. Datasheets are not public really... and not documenting much. There was some support for it in UBoot - someone was working on it but I am not sure where did it end up.

krzk: How is work going on that SoC?
<mimi89999>
Is it feable?
<mimi89999>
feasable

mimi89999: You would need to ask Paweł. He appears here sometimes - nick PabloPL. It's a lot of work. Still broken arch timers (workaround available).
<krzk>
mimi89999: I think, with recent patches, he was able to make UFS working. It also needed some tweaks in clocks - I think it was merged.
<krzk>
mimi89999: and usual pain of lack of documentation, for example to S2MPS15 PMIC and of course to entire SoC.

Some time ago we were discussing that clocks were done completely differently. Somehow he managed to over come it...

but wait... I think he is working on Exynos7580, not Exynos7420 - I've mistaken.
