<wwilly>
hi folks, is the Exynos5422 on odroid-xu3 and xu4 the exact same?
<wwilly>
I'm working on micro benchmark, written in assembly, testing some stuff about IPC, LLCM and cache
<wwilly>
the exact same binary, on the xu3, no cache miss, but xu4 there are some, like 10%
<wwilly>
it's on unrolling loops optimisation, so a more accurate question is, are both exynos5422 revision use the same instruction cache size on these two boards?
<wwilly>
both board have the image, running a 5.10.13, same ssd, same compiler
<wwilly>
uhm interesting, even with higher LLCM, I have better relative performance .... I will dive more, maybe an artefact in my data ...
<wwilly>
but still, the question remain, is exactly the same manufactured chip?

it's the same.
<ard>
just a different board design.
<ard>
so you have a USB3-OTG port instead of a USB3 gigabit nic
<ard>
So the XU3 has HDMI *and* display port, otg/gadget drivers and a 100Mb usb 2 nic with no pre-programmed mac
<ard>
also some current sensors
<wwilly>
yes ok
<wwilly>
what about the memory controller?
