WTF ??!! I think that my chromebook reformatted itself... when I boot it... coreboot no longer ask me if I want to be from sdcard or internal emmc... it boots chromeos directly
<rperier>
and
<rperier>
I need to reconfigure everything
<rperier>
:D
cnxsoft has quit [Quit: cnxsoft]
<rperier>
perhaps during an os/firmware upgrade (as we're supposed to use the developer mode normally...)
<rperier>
we're not*
<rperier>
fortunately, I still have everything on my sdcard, so I have just to enable the developer mode again ... :/

<amstan>
rperier: that's interesting
<amstan>
rperier: it would be nice to look into that
<rperier>
I did nothing special...
<amstan>
so you had the stock firmware, just developer mode
<amstan>
and you say that it went back to normal mode without warning?
<cristian_c>
hello
<cristian_c>
how can I mount some nand partition in user-space?
<cristian_c>
I don't see mtdblocks files in /dev, but only loop0 to loop7, and 7:1 to 7:7 in /dev/block
<cristian_c>
any ideas?
<amstan>
rperier: ^^
<rperier>
amstan: exactly, I just used a mainline kernel on it two days ago, but everything worked fine... and then I did not use it during few days...
<rperier>
that's it
<amstan>
what do you mean by "coreboot no longer ask me if I want to be from sdcard or internal emmc"
<amstan>
it never asks
<amstan>
it just says you're in developer mode, press space to go back
<rperier>
when I turned on it , this afternoon... coreboot did not warn me , it booted normally to chromeos
<amstan>
did someone press space by mistake?
<rperier>
what I mean, is that usually it warns you that you're in dev mode and then you can press CTRL+D or CTRL+U
<rperier>
it warns you with a white screen, it did not show me something, it booted as it was the first time I booted my chromebook
<amstan>
so on that screen, if someone follows the instructions it'll go back to normal mode

amstan: like pressing space ?
<rperier>
anyway, I am sure that I did not ask it to go back to normal mode
<rperier>
I will wait and see if it happens again or not...
