ezdiy: which pbs are b288 ?
<ezdiy>
also pbs are allwinner b288, me and ChriChri are trying to get it running, but it's fairly exotic thing as allwinners go

I have a file that starts with the magic 'sunxi-package'. It starts with sections named 'u-boot' (0x40), soc-cfg (0x1b0) and dtb (0x320). Size is 664kb. I suspect that it contains a u-boot and all the additional needed stuff to start a b288, but I can't find how to unpack it to get the single files. https://pastebin.com/8bz7Qkbp Any ideas or help?

b288: But the system didn't come up...
<ChriChri>
b288: Looking at the serial console I had the following:
<ChriChri>
USB device 001:047 Allwinner B288 93000000:74004624:51904214:04390ecb
<ChriChri>
b288: Maybe I've gotten a bit further. I made an image of the eMMC of the device and searched it for the eGON.BT0 magic. Found it twice at 0x30000 and 0x40000. Following https://linux-sunxi.org/FEL/USBBoot#Testing I used dd to extract 32kb starting from 0x30000 to get boot0.img. Checked boot0.img using sunxi-bootinfo:

I've got a running B288 board with serial console. Where can I get boot0.bin for testing https://linux-sunxi.org/FEL/USBBoot#Testing? The device has a eMMC on which the system resides...
<ChriChri>
karlp: I already forked and patched so that I could make pull request separately for B288 and the +/ issue. I have to learn a lot to test, so it will take time. As I understood the right way to test is to make uart0-helloworld-sdboot run?
<karlp>
you could try taking the b288 stuff and resubmitting it after testing yourself separately
<ChriChri>
hm, looking for information on B288 I didn't find much. I also looked at the source of sunxi-tools, but not at the pull requests. Turned out that there is a pull request open with exactly the information I'd been looking for. Should this https://github.com/linux-sunxi/sunxi-tools/pull/103 stay unmereged for formal reasons?

plaes: Wifi? Yes, so what? You mean that the information in the wiki is taken from the fel.c source and/or that B288 might be the same as H3? Sorry, if I'm sounding like an idiot, but I'm not a developer and I'm just getting started with all this context around Allwinner devices...
<ChriChri>
I'd have a question about https://linux-sunxi.org/FEL/USBBoot#SoC_support_status : I have an Allwinner B288 (id=1699) device which I'd like to boot using FEL/USB. As I understand I need to have parameters for "MMU setup" and "Stack pointers" to be able to use it. How can I get those parameters from the device or the devices software?

<Ixnus>
search for B288 datasheet or user manual may get lucky

<MoeIcenowy>
Allwinner B288 has even no dev boards on taobao

KotCzarny: w10 being B288 seems to be correct
