If you need to talk 9p, then ocaml-9p should work. It's fairly flexible — you can layer 9p on top of any Mirage FLOW. In Docker on Mac and Windows we make a virtual filesystem with it, mount it in Linux and then use it to control port-forwarding. This was a bit of a plan9-style experiment. I probably would use a regular rpc system in future… but at least it helped us debug the ocaml-9p code :)
