i kinda liked that test setup though, because even for me as sitting-natively-in-front-of-a-terminal (instead of ssh-ing in from the side) that is so much more convenient for dev+test.

basicly the build-vm had the root-fs of the template mounted on /mnt/, so after a make of the mirage-kernel you could copy it to /mnt and restart the test-appvm based on the test-template and tail the appvms console to see which way it explodes now.

all without any manual roundtrips to dom0 or so.
