<hannes> h01ger: sounds good. is there a way to influence that "hope this will be enough" - I don't personally use debian, but I see lots of reports about this issue on the various bug trackers and would be very happy if this problem would just vanish
<h01ger> hannes: not really, and if its not good enough i assume it takes another ping and thats all. the change is technically sound, easily reviewable and low risk, so i dont expect any issues
<h01ger> i also fixed the bug meta data, so it shows up correctly on the release teams radar..
<mato> h01ger: thanks for this!
<mato> i've subscribed myself to the p-u bug
<h01ger> i'll also ping the bug in a week if nothing happens. the fix must be in until 3rd of may, so still plenty of time.
<h01ger> (and my mail yesterday was a ping too)

<pie_[bnc]> do you guys know any organizations/projects which do engineering / engineering process / process really well and are worth studying?
<pie_[bnc]> or any other references? im thinking of writing a bit of a checklist
<pie_[bnc]> the idea here is that i dont have to struggle to come up with everything myself
<hannes> pie_[bnc]: I'm not sure I understand what you mean - and is it on-topic for this channel?
<pie_[bnc]> its somewhat off topic
