I would like to say that it's "normal", when you pin a package, you start to pley with a non-reproductible environment for any situation because you rely on something local on your context

in such situation, the most important point is to be able to push what you did "upstream"

but as long as what you did is not pushed "upstream", you definitely rely on a specific situation which is, of course, non-reproducible
