<guardian> I so don't get the "Nanoc on Windows for non-technical users" way
<guardian> considering how non technical users can sometimes barely cope with a wordpress

<ddfreyne> ack!
<ddfreyne> pepijndevos: The GUI stuff is a bit of a pipe dream sadly
<pepijndevos> ddfreyne, why?
<skroon> hi all
<skroon> I would like to develop 3 websites, www.mydomain.com <--- all my products landing and marketing pages, blog.mydomain.com <--- just for my blogs and support.mydomain.com <--- support pages
<skroon> at first I thought about having those in 3 seperate nanco projects, however my css styling will be the same across all projects, so it would kinda suck to copy over the css styling everytime
<skroon> I was wondering is it perhaps possible with nanoc to have everything in one single project. but have the output generate 3 sites... hope that makes sense :-)
<darix> skroon: put your css styling on "assets.mydomain.com"
<darix> and just reference it from all 3
<skroon> darix: how do I develop locally though at that point?
<darix> skroon: /etc/hosts
<skroon> darix: hmmm that's not really ideal solution either imo

<ddfreyne> skroon: I use Anvil (anvilformac) locally. Route your nanoc items so it ends up in output/root output/blog output/support output/shared and then set up 4 hosts for that (mydomain.dev, blog.mydomain.dev, etc)
<ddfreyne> skroon: the shared is for the shared stylesheets
<ddfreyne> pepijndevos: No time :(
<pepijndevos> ddfreyne, ah yes. I hope it gets there eventually...
<pepijndevos> If I had time...
<ddfreyne> pepijndevos: It is still on the to-do list. Help is appreciated but I don't think I will have time to work on it myself
<pepijndevos> I would build it if I where afraid of terminals, but if I where, I probably couldn't.
<pepijndevos> Which is part of the larger geeks solve geek problems problem
