<ddfreyne> I'm parsing the Rules file :o
<ddfreyne> Not sure whether that is a good idea in practice, but it does give a few advantages, such as being able to get globs that match items that need to be recompiled, without needing to poke every single item itself

<ddfreyne> So making a change in Rules is O(#modified-rules) instead of O(#items) which is a big improvement
