i have a new install with 4.09 and i am already in the midst of fighting with ocaml dependencies. i dont think i can continue using it like this. there is no community support

i dont know anyone that uses ocaml and hav barely spoke to anyone in my life that uses it. i am not sure where people get help or support unless they are working in a company or from school.

these are bandaids for existing knowledge and project. but counterproductive to starting out.

i am not in the mood to install an older version of ocaml to help with your code, sorry. i've just installed a brand new 4.09 to get my own code working again.

Hi, i currently have enabled more compiler warnings in dune config. I added Menhir to the project, and i'm getting warnings from the generated OCaml code. Can i use the default warnings for that single module? I enabled the warnings like this https://dpaste.org/qfus

oni-on-ion: the error message you got from opam just told you that opam can not install camlimage because it is not compatible with ocaml 4.09.0

and it is a commun problem that some package are imcompatible with some other, that is why switch are important to not have too many package install in the same switch
