Hi
<farismustafa>
Hello
<farismustafa>
I just started with pony a few days ago, really enjoying myself :)
<farismustafa>
Still trying to get used to refcaps but the compiler helps a lot in guiding you
<laxmen>
it seems to be a nice language
<farismustafa>
What are you liking so far?
<laxmen>
still checking community, documentation, features, etc
<farismustafa>
nice. The tutorial is really good if you haven't checked it out yet. Other than that, resources seem a bit sparse :/ I've been largely relying on the compiler to learn haha
<farismustafa>
But one of the issues for me is that when I run into cryptic compiler errors it's been difficult to google for them
<laxmen>
yes, I guess. Not that much info

<strmpnk>
Am I correct that tuples don't intrinsically define methods for Hashable? Is there a reason for this or just something that could be added?
<Praetonus>
strmpnk: Yes, currently you can't build a hash based on the contents of a tuple, but it could be added in the future
<strmpnk>
Cool. Just wanted to validated that I wasn't misunderstanding something. It'd definitely be nice to have a way to extend things like tuple types but I'll just create a class for now.
