Is the CS version of 7.5 notarized? I just downloaded it and had to do the xattr trick for both the .app and the racket binary.

manumanumanu: yes, it's supposed to be notarized. by "the .app" do you mean DrRacket.app?
<manumanumanu>
yes
<samth>
manumanumanu: also, I think you can right-click and choose "Open". also^2, can you report a bug at github.com/racket/racket/issues ?
<manumanumanu>
I'll just check if I can reproduce it...
<manumanumanu>
'"DrRacket" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified'
<manumanumanu>
Right-clicking gives me an "open" option.
<manumanumanu>
samth: The .app folder has a "_CodeSignature" folder and some kind of xml file inside.
<samth>
right, we did a bunch of work to try to make notarization work correctly for DrRacket so it's unfortunate it doesn't work for you
<manumanumanu>
The expected behaviour is that it just launches I guess? :D I have been ignoring that for a bunch of programs since updating, so I didn't really think much about it.
<samth>
yes, that's the expected behavior
<manumanumanu>
I'll submit a bug report when I come home this afternoon.
