do the sandcats.io sub domains provide a cert, or should i be using my own domain for that?
citruspi has joined #sandstorm
<paulproteus>
No cert at the moment, so if you want HTTPS for those, you can buy a wildcard cert for *.yourname.sandcats.io perhaps, or you can use your own domain.
<paulproteus>
And thanks for asking!
<micahd>
paulproteus: i heard you talk quite a bit about sandstorm at pycon, i only just got it set up to check it out
<paulproteus>
Cool! : D
<paulproteus>
Please do check it out and let us know what you think, and hopefully make productive use of it, and file bugs or package apps!
<micahd>
yeah, i'm already thinking of a few things that might be cool in the distributed paradigm it has...
<micahd>
a genealogy research app for example
<micahd>
i'm using webtrees currently which is php-based so it could probably be packaged pretty easily
<micahd>
i think it's only designed against mysql though
<paulproteus>
Yeah, I have been vaguely chatting with Madeleine Prime Ball about personal genome-type stuff in Sandstorm. (https://twitter.com/madprime)
