[Tim Edwards, skywater-pdk] @tnt: I looked that that earlier, but it is very much oriented toward 3D printers and board-level stuff. It would have been nice to see a room devoted to open source silicon.
<mkk_>
[Sylvain Munaut, skywater-pdk] yeah it's more about mechanical and electrical CAD, application for devrooms are closed now, so any talk would have to fit into one of the approved ones.

Staf and probably LIP6 (Sorbonne University, alliance/coriolis2) are likely going to submit under the CAD / design track too
<lkcl>
although hypothetically because coriolis2 is mostly python it could fit under the main python one

this FOSDEM is weird because the Open Hardware devroom, which was introduced only 2 years ago, is missing
<lkcl>
but, honestly, because it is all entirely online this year i don't think it makes much difference, i think they will be flexible :)
<mkk_>
[Sylvain Munaut, skywater-pdk] OTOH ... it's virtual so ...
<lkcl>
yehyeh :)
<lkcl>
the one thing about FOSDEM: it's *big*. 8,000 real-world visitors a year for 20 years when it was hosted at Brussels University
