<seok> How do I stop slime/emacs freezing up whenever it tries to print long lines
<Shinmera> rewrite emacs' entire buffer display system.
<seok> Oh it's shinmera, hello there
<seok> I'm getting error using your radiance library when I run (startup) something about not being able to migrate because version is not set
<seok> I ignore it and it works fine
<seok> Wait, radiance is by shirakumo
<seok> nvm, sorry
<Shinmera> add :version "0.0.0" to your system definition to get rid of that warning.
<seok> Cool thanks
<Shinmera> radiance is on the shirakumo group but was written almost entirely by me :)
<seok> (radiance:create-module) creates an asdf without a :version option
<Shinmera> yes, it wasn't updated when the versioning got introduced. I've committed a patch for that but haven't pushed it live on the dist.
<seok> I see
<seok> Are you still working on it?
<Shinmera> when a bug comes across my way, sure.
<Shinmera> but it's very robust these days, I typically don't need to touch the core.
<seok> I tried the handful of frameworks on CL, think I settled on radiance
<seok> +1 to add it to quicklisp : )
<Shinmera> Can't do that, I'm afraid.
<seok> What's wrong?
<Shinmera> Radiance, and especially support modules, require an environment to be set in order to load without errors. Quicklisp requires systems to be loadable without any user interaction.
<seok> Oh ok
