<fche> hi otwieracz
<fche> please try a newer version of systemtap, and/or supply the output from stap-report(1), as advised in man error::pass4
<fche> (by the way, systemtap has some internationalization facilities built in; if you have some time, we'd love some polish translation text. :-)
<otwieracz> That's what I was suspecting.
<otwieracz> But why the heck systap is so outdated in Ubuntu :-(
<fche> 2.8 is actually not that old :)
<fche> but yeah, some distro maintainers aren't keeping up with our 2-4 releases a year

<otwieracz> jistone: That's probably just too old systemtap.
<jistone> 2.8, that's not very old
<jistone> the error looks like a problem with the kernel headers, which is what's weird to me

<jistone> linux/spinlock_types.h includes either asm/spinlock_types.h or linux/spinlock_types_up.h, depending on CONFIG_SMP
<jistone> either of those should define __ARCH_SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED
<jistone> otwieracz, so I'm confused
