<tonyj> is there any easy way on make installcheck to skip all the 32bit stuff?
<fche> hm don't know

<irker894> systemtap: fche systemtap.git:refs/heads/master * release-4.1-102-gc403410 / runtime/map-gen.c: runtime gen-map.c: add /* fallthru */ to satisfy gcc 9's -Wimplicit-fallthrough http://tinyurl.com/yxu6w7mk
<tonyj> I thought -Wimplicit-fallthrough was in gcc7
<fche> maybe not so aggressive as now
<tonyj> fche: I needed to backport the first of those two patches for our gcc7 based compilers
<tonyj> maybe we backported some other gcc9 isms onto them
<fche> could be
<fche> or some -W* turned them onto a higher than old level ?
<tonyj> dunno but I literally just backported the vsprintf one when the bot spat out the runtime one, good timing :)
<fche> haha yea
<fche> btw we're hoping to spin a 4.2 release in the next week or two
<fche> the more testing we can get the better
<fche> esp. on non-x86-64 platforms
<tonyj> fche: ah, yeah, I'd been holding off on submitting a version update for next 5.3 based SLE hoping there would be an update.
<tonyj> but I want this off my plate, I'll kick the version to 4.2 later
<fche> righto
<tonyj> I'll have to dig into the testsuite as it would be nice to skip the 32bit stuff sometimes
<tonyj> I always have to burn 5 mins remembering what the package names are for all the 32bit deps
<fche> could edit that part of the smoke test out of the testsuite ..
<tonyj> sure, but be useful to make it an option.
