Anyway - my moms Samsung Galaxy S2 SII or i9100 I guess (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/I9100_Info) is very slow. Have been considering putting cyanogenmod on it. One Q the wiki doesn't seem to answer (because I guess it can be quite subjective) is how well does this work?

Newest M release good for SII, or should I install something else, - or just reset the stock rom? Or even install an old version.

E.g. my HTC G1, I remember I stayed on some old cyanogenmod, quite simply because the phone was so old and underpowered that it worked best with Android 1.5 IIRC.

odinho: have a read of the thread on xda forums i guess, see what people think of it. the last one i used was CM10 on the S2 and it was solid...sorry I know that's not much help at all

RoBz: That is indeed helpful. CM10 worked well at least.
