hey, I recently got a new headset for my galaxysmtd. But the builtin control button does not work. I have CM11 installed. I did a little research and the headset works with another phone. The next thing I checked was, if the button click was registered by my device. which is not the case. I ran "getevent" and I did not get any response when pressing the button. Where can I get help for this? Thanks in advance. I'd be happy to post add

don't know if this is the right place ;)
<Zhenech>
probably not. but try the headset on an iPhone. if it works it won't on Samsung.

(there are two standards for headsets, one works on iPhone/Sony, the other on all other brands -- well, atleast in my tests)
<archjamm>
it works on a HTC device
<archjamm>
could you then recommend me a place to ask this question otherwise?

archjamm, look at the sec_jack kernel driver

and set the voltage values correctly

unrelated: my current port doesn't show the tasks switcher with the sw buttons bar, any clue why?
