<
javier__>

<
javier__>

really? it happens all the time on snow for me
<
Wizzup>
javier__: mainline 4.1-rc2
<
javier__>
Wizzup: no, never happened to me but I use it mostly for testing though
<
javier__>
Wizzup: I'm more interested about the resume path not working and poweroff as you said
<
javier__>
I didn't hit those, that was working correctly on my tests

I think it happens with both mainline u-boot and chrome u-boot. I will be able to test/report in a bit

javier__: well it shows up in dmesg now
<
Tenkawa>
now I have to figure out how to get Xorg reconfigured
<
javier__>
Tenkawa: newer xorg shouldn't need a lot of config
<
Tenkawa>
kb and mouse dont seem to like the /devices/platform syntax/locations
<
javier__>
with fbdev ddx should work out of the box
<
Tenkawa>
yeah the display works great
<
Tenkawa>
just need to get stanzas for mouse and kb and I'll be set
<
Tenkawa>
javier__: do you have anything in xorg.conf defined for the mouse and kb?
<
Tenkawa>
nevermind...
<
Tenkawa>
haahaa had the device defined but not the infra
<
Tenkawa>
infrastructure
<
javier__>
Tenkawa: not really, just using evdev and the standard evdev configuration and it just worked for me
<
javier__>
in debian jessie
<
Tenkawa>

<
Tenkawa>

<
Tenkawa>
everything but the pointer icon itself seems to be working fine

well.. i got 4.0.4 kernel to boot on my xe303c12 just fine however the screen goes white... anyone know if there is a fix for that?
<
Wizzup>
when does the screen go white
<
Tenkawa>
it starts booting i think with black screen then probably aboyt the point the vt for the console gets created it goes white
<
Tenkawa>
it interacts with keyboard (login and reboot) and syslog shows boot/etc fine
<
Tenkawa>
I'm wondering if I missed one setting
<
Tenkawa>
it would be great to be able to test the 4.x series of kernels on here
<
Wizzup>
is simplefb on? should be off regardless, I also turned of IOMMU, but that should no longer be necessary I think
<
Wizzup>
did you see the wiki on the config?
<
Tenkawa>
let me try that
<
Tenkawa>
simplefb was on
<

i'll bbiaf
