<naobsd> ganbold_: not sure, please try...
<BorgCuba> I think so
<BorgCuba> and probably make
<BorgCuba> ganbold_, and libusb 1.0
<ganbold_> interesting while pushing recovery button power on boots to linux
<naobsd> ganbold_: if OTG is not connected, it goes recovery mode, kernel/ramdisk in recovery (or kernel) partition is used
<ganbold_> I will try with otg connected
<naobsd> "dual boot rom" = android kernel/ramdisk in boot, linux kernel/ramdisk in recovery
<ganbold_> yeah, it seems it doesn't matter, probaby it works this way when pressed recovery button and powered on
<naobsd> if OTG is connected to PC, it should go loader(rockusb) mode
<ganbold_> then it goes to linux
<naobsd> then OTG connection is not recognized
<ganbold_> ok, connected
<naobsd> try: 1. connect power and otg 2. press&hold recovery 3. press&release reset
<naobsd> well

<ganbold_> yes
<ganbold_> connected via rkflashtool
<ganbold_> so which one to flash?
<naobsd> for what?
<ganbold_> would like to try freebsd kernel
<ganbold_> maybe 0x00008000@0x0000e000(kernel) this one
<ganbold_> so something like: ./rkflashtool w 0xe000 0x6000 < kernel.img
<karlp> rperier: I guess I really meant, "what was the bad one?"

<tizbac> hello, i'm trying to compile a kernel for a tablet that i own , the model is mediacom mp82s4 and prestigio pmp5785c
<tizbac> i've found on a forum the kernel source for rk3188 tablets, but the problem is that none of the kernels around for mp82s4 or pmp5785c have /proc/config.gz
<tizbac> i've tried various display configurations randomly , and all i get is the backlight turning on
JohnDoe_71Rus has joined #linux-rockchip
<tizbac> does anyone have some suggestion regarding who could be the manufacter of these devices or figuring out kernel config?
