<ddfreyne> tom[]: Ahhhh, right
<ddfreyne> tom[]: I personally prefer to delay the syntax coloring step and use a separate filter for that (filter :colorize_syntax)
<ddfreyne> but that is a matter of taste

<tom[]> ddfreyne: this is the first decent config i've managed to find that works nicely
<tom[]> what i had before involved a custom filter that regex replaced fenced code blocks before running the markdown converter and then colorize_syntax after. it was very slow
<tom[]> anyway. it's time i thanked you for nanoc and for your support here on irc. thanks!

<ddfreyne> tom[]: I am actually facing a similar problem now :)
<ddfreyne> tom[]: I use colorize_syntax but it's a bit icky

<tom[]> ddfreyne: if you come up with something tidy, share it
<tom[]> the docs for nanoc are very good. but since it is a very flexible, wide open framework, i could use more examples, especially as a rubynoob

<lynaghk> Is there some way to passthrough an "index.html"? I've got a folder that I basically just want copied to the output; that's it. the "passthrough" rule works for everything, but "content/foo/index.html" yields "/foo/foo/index.html"

<lynaghk> ah! my mistake; I didn't have ".html" as a text_extension.
