<thopiekar> Hi, currently I'm working on creating dkms packages for the ARM mali r5p0 drivers. I own a Odroid U3 and took the mali driver from the supported 3.8 kernel to 4.2.3 kernel. With the same config I build it there while fixing some includes. When loading the driver dmesg says it has registered the driver, but /dev/mali does not appear. Why is that?
<ssvb> thopiekar: the mali kernel needs some glue layer, which provides adaptation for your soc
<ssvb> thopiekar: if this glue layer is missing or done wrong, then problems may happen, including but not limited to missing /dev/mali
<thopiekar> So is this because of an newer kernel or depending specific changes done by hardkernel on their sources?
<thopiekar> ssvb: ^
<ssvb> thopiekar: I'm afraid that there is not enough information to answer this question
<thopiekar> Hmm, ok, thanks.

<hilton8r> Hello everyone... I've been working on a touch screen application running on a cubox i4x4-300-D. I haven't been able to figure out how to get a browser with flash support installed. I may give up on this because it was only needed for demo purposes until the application is converted to html 5. I was asked to look into whether or not any accelerated drivers are available for us to take advantage of.
<hilton8r> The image I'm currently working on is for arch...
