alright, any objections to moving to OFTC? it already has a significant kernel dev presence, and should be more reliable than libera in the short term (since they're still figuring stuff out)
<delroth>
does it have an easy to use matrix bridge? :)
<marcan>
#_oftc_#channame:matrix.org apparently
<marcan>
so yes
<delroth>
nice, didn't know about that bridge
<TheJollyRoger>
I will see you on the other side!
<marcan>
TheJollyRoger: it's not done yet
<TheJollyRoger>
Oh!
<marcan>
there will be an official switchover at some point, once stuff is set up and logging is in place
<TheJollyRoger>
Er...
* TheJollyRoger
blushes.
<TheJollyRoger>
Sorry, er... should I jump back out...?
<marcan>
I don't mind if some people join in anticipation, but it's not settled yet, hence why I'm requesting a bit of feedback in case someone has objections :)
<marcan>
I'm going to make this a hard cut-off, there's no point in splintering the community; when that happens the freenode side will be set +m
<TheJollyRoger>

Alright folks, logs are in place and Asahi Linux is moving to OFTC. Please point your IRC clients to irc.oftc.net:6697 (SSL) if you have not already done so. Logs here are no longer canonical and I will be setting this channel +m very soon. I arranged to have freenode logs up until 2021-05-19 backfilled into the OFTC log viewer, to avoid a discontinuity.
