<alicef> tardyp: is possible to start some build from rss updates ?
<alicef> do you know any example

<p12tic> alicef: you could setup a tool that monitors rss updates and then uses try scheduler
<alicef> I was thinking to make an adhoc changesource for monitoring rss feeds
<p12tic> that could also work. it depends on your exact circumstances
<p12tic> i was assuming that you're getting a notification on rss and you need to react to it
<p12tic> if there are real commits involved then changesource is also a valid option.
<alicef_> I cannot send a change source without a commit ?
<p12tic> i think you can submit it with enough information that buildbot does not see the difference
<p12tic> and then just not use any of the source steps with that particular codebase during builds
<p12tic> basically there are many options, just that some options would be more likely to find a bug in Buildbot than others
