I have an on :message code block for a simple response to a command, if I sleep() in that code is there any way to check what messages have come into the channel since the code execution started for that message, before sending my reply

abakedapplepie: interesting. to me it seems the answer is "no not directly" but if I wanted to I would achieve the same effect by having another handler store all messages coming into the channel in some array or something. when your code wakes up from sleep, check that array
